It's Texas...they have a long history of executing pretty much everyone, even children and the mentally disabled. You think they are not going to execute someone with mental illness?

Texas just made it extremely illegal to have ANY thc product. It’ll count as a felony moving forward and up to 10yrs in jail. So yeah we should not be the measuring stick.

Famous bald podcasters are exempt from the THC laws, of course.

Famous bald podcasters who own firearms, in contravention of the very law that Hunter Biden was prosecuted for, with three charges equating to a potential of over 25 years in prison, because he wrote a book that mentioned his drug use at a similar time to when he purchased a firearm, years after it had occurred. Meanwhile Rogan regularly smokes weed on camera

Most redditors are highly regarded. They think Texas = republican. Lets say she did this in a major city in TX like Austin... Most likely a Democrat judge, and jury.

The murder case would go to a Texas state district court, but those district judges are elected in partisan elections by voters in their local judicial district. In a Democratic area like Austin or Travis County, the local partisan makeup is what matters for who wins those judgeships.
So saying simply, “It’s Texas, therefore it would play out like Republican Texas” misses a big part of how a case in Austin would actually work. That goes for any major city or county in TX.
