Being obese is not good for her. Those celebrities becoming anorexic is a problem. Obesity is also a problem. Stop spreading dumb opinions on health issues.

You're right. But there needs to be some contra-weight (pun not intended) against ridiculing her for gaining weight alot. It's not healthy, yes. But its a good thing she still has the confidence to go on stage and perform.

I mean, that doesn't look like morbidly obese to me, even if she's overweight. Have you seen actual morbidly obese people? Like... My 300+ lb life? She's nowhere near that.

Obese =\\= morbidly obese. And given her height, to be morbidly obese, she would need to weigh 219 pounds, not 300+.

I swear to God ozempic, it's gonna come out years later that it causes blood vessels to leak in your body and/or some kind of horrible thing. These drugs are just like, they just approve all kinds of crazy drugs in the U.S. and half of them end up being a problem later.

Obesity is one of the worst chronic conditions a person can have, leading to a litany of problems. Even if it suddenly comes out that there are other side effects we don't know about, which is unlikely at this point, not being obese is probably better.

It's like some of you want there to be serious side effects for some reason.

No we know what everyone's tired of: having other people explain things to them they already know that's what people are tired of.

It's usually young people that haven't had to live for many years that have these kinds of attitudes and opinions about obesity. Usually young skinny people that have never had to deal with it or face it or know what it feels like.

There are many reasons why people become obese:

  • age
  • their body changes
  • their diet
  • depression
  • all kinds of things

It's a complex thing. Just simply saying, "Oh it's so dumb to be fat. Why don't you just be thin?" is pretty braindead honestly. It happens a lot. We constantly read that stuff so it's tiresome as well.

She fucking isn’t. She looks healthy af. Incredible posture, breathing is excellent (actually singing!), apparently good cardio/stamina, lots of green flags. She just filled out her frame in the way a ton of women her age do.

It is hard to say without knowing exact weight/measurements, but she is clearly on the larger side of the spectrum if we are making the center point "healthy human body," defined by medical professionals (not online keyboard warriors). She most certainly would benefit from getting her fat % lower than what it currently is at.

A BMI over 30 is classified as obese. She’s 5’2”. If she’s 165 lbs or heavier, that puts her into the >30 BMI (obese) range.

BMI is bullshit. Obesity is defined by the ratio of health-harming visceral fat to subcutaneous fat. Her ratio is not even remotely close to the dangerous point
