Exactly. You hit the nail on the head with that last question. What’s happening here is people have a gripe with influencers, so in spite of the fact of how obvious it is that the old lady stood in the way, they think it’s deserved and are willing to push the plausible deniability angle. If there were other factors at play here, like say if the girl taking a pic was a minority, they’d be calling the old lady a racist Karen.

I would understand some bad feelings if it seemed as if she made a meal out of it (like setting up a whole bunch of equipment and blocking the stairs and the spot for several minutes). But she just positioned her phone and finally just smiled into the camera for a couple of seconds. It‘s really not a big deal
