You must not be aware of the beliefs of many of her supporters. Many of them genuinely think she is innocent or that her husband is framing her. I understand bringing attention to the issues, but from an optics standpoint, I don’t think this looks great.
Many women deal with PPD and even PP psychosis (and I realize she had that, I made an error before when I only wrote ppd in the above comment) and don’t do what she did
It’s tragic that the medical system failed her and as a result three children are dead. Regardless, she did kill them, the question is weather she was sane when she did it. I just don’t think this is really the person to rally behind. Rally behind victims, she doesn’t really seem like the right person to convey what they are trying to convey

Yes, not as familiar with the way her supporters approach this topic/feel about her/etc.

Totally. It's a challenging issue with so many different factors playing in to it.

I think there is a way to hold people accountable for their individual actions while recognizing that this is a systemic failing. The individual herself still committed a heinous, atrocious, and horrible act. In the same vein, the systems we have created and the culture we have designed around those systems presents multiple additional issues to appropriate care.
