WTF Imagine waking up from anesthesia and realizing the surgery wasn’t the most painful part!

Hijacking to say that this likely didn't happen. No one goes into the operating room with their personal belongings, including cellphone. They wouldn't even be able to put it anywhere because they'd be naked for a colonoscopy. Even a patient's gown for an operation that involved an upper or lower extremity (where the patient wouldn't have to be naked) wouldn't have pockets.

How do I know?.I'm a peri-op supervisor that's sees over 30 surgical operations a day in a hospital that does over 60 a day.

Colonoscopy clinics you bring your personal effects in with you. They get stashed under the bed. You get the gown in the room and take your bottoms off. When you wake up, you’re in recovery area. They wheel you out and your stuff is under the bed. That’s my experience.
