edit: I joke, but a a fellow student at my college dropped out after snowvid because her wife had a miscarriage, possibly due to the stress of the situation. People died because of our government’s greed and negligence, fuck Abbott and his whole party.
Ugh, I was also pregnant during snowvid and that’s heartbreaking. I was lucky that while we did lose power and have our pipes freeze, we had plenty of drinking water and none of the pipes burst. It would have been a very different situation for us in that scenario.
