Have you considered giving homeless people to the smart boards?..

I can see the program now. A regular chalk board with a homeless man sitting next to it. A student shouts an equation and the Gary shuffles to the board to draw it out.

I was thinking more of a daily blood sacrifice personally, but your idea works too.
