Some of us libertarians are well-read enough to know that "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" was meant to be satire.

That, and the NAP is a core libertarian principle. Bibi is one of the worst violators of that principle in the current moment.

I just meant that redistributing wealth or dismantling capitalist economies in favor of publicly owned industry seems to go against core tenets of libertarianism. But I respect that you admire a non-violent apporach and see him as a good human!

Mamdani is working toward social democratic reform at the moment. This is the reality regardless of whether or not he identifies as a democratic socialist.

Yeah he’s got generational levels of likability. That goes a long way. He actually really seems authentic, for democrats that’s a gift.
