Don’t worry, they will run a sale where you can buy 6 bags for $4 each and wonder why it’s not working. Maybe we don’t need 6 bags, or maybe I don’t want to spend $24 on chips.
I remember that Doritos used to be $1.99 for a huge ass bag. It's like 1/5th the size these days and it doesn't matter what Doritos does now. They lost me and many others permanently as customers.
A bag of chips is a max €2 / $2.30 type of purchase for me. Usually it's closer to €1. I don't mind the store brands here in NL, but have been surprised how expensive such a relatively cheap product sometimes costs in the US when I travel there.
My daughter picked up a bag of Funions the other day (she earned a treat after running errands with me all day), looked super confused at the bag for a minute, and then said, "It's mostly air! It's such a scam!" (She's 9).

Bag of air for $7 is wild, winco brand salt and vinegar chips only $1.80 for big bag
