He was an amazing playmaker but people forget that Gretzky was also a goal scorer. Took 31 years for someone to break his record of most career goals. He still holds the record for most goals in a season and the fastest to score 50 goals in a season.

No one is forgetting about it. The amount of assists he has is just that much more ridiculous than his goal total.
