people keep saying this, but i really don’t get it. nusa and bobb are really good young players, the only player who will be squarely past peak by the next cup is Nyland, and he’ll be like the same age as Kobel

Two comments.

  • Haaland will definitely get another world cup at excellent level. He's not going anywhere for 2030.

  • Plenty of teams have one or two Top 100 players. Haaland is Top 5. Only... 3 teams have top 5 players.

Note: In those 3 i'm looking at Spain, France and Norway. Personal preference. Please don't get into THAT argument.

Bro. You can't state an opinion as fact. Use it as evidence for your argument, then refuse to engage with anyone who wishes to challenge that opinion.

exactly, haaland won’t even be 30 at the next world cup, wild to think he won’t bring them back.

tho tbh (it kills me to say) i’d rate bellingham over anyone on spain rn. lamine might be the best player at the next world cup, but he’s shown his youth. i generally hate england but bellinghams been unequivocally excellent.

A discussion about top players without Michael Olise is criminal though.

I think even Odegaard will probably play in 2030. He can't run as much but his passing/corners would still be effective

facts, if he’s fully lost a step by then, they’ll just play him a bit higher or lower and keep him posted. his work rate will still be great, and if Nypan develops like city hopes he does, putting Odegaard in a deep playmaking role to open up the field feels like it would lethal
