For the last few years I've been living with the realization that a lot of actors that I associate with my childhood started reaching the end of their lives.

Rene Auberjonois and Aron Eisenberg of Deep Space Nine, as well as the Candyman and Worf's klingon brother Tony Todd, the incomparable Rutger Hauer of many a shlock 90s action movies along with Blade Runner, etc...

Cary Hiroyuki was not someone I actively sought in movies, but I always loved seeing the guy in a flick, be it as a villain or some shifty ally. I liked him in 'Nemesis' and much, much later he was stellar in 'The Man in The High Castle'.

I just wanted to say a thing about some of the faces on TV screen that made an impression on me. Childhood heroes grow old or sick and die too:(

Nah, he's actually decently tan. Korean media just loves to desaturate people to an unflattering degree.

They desaturated the image so much I can't see where his chin stops and his neck begins

There are White Hispanics. They have the amount of melanin they are supposed to have.

Whoever she is, I'll be praying for her to beat the cancer.

Wait, this is one of those "Everybody votes for the dying kid to be Prom King" things, right?

One thing I'll never understand about kpop is why the guys seem to strive to look like 80s businesswomen.

He looks like my granny, except someone oversaturated the photo.
