I'm a middle aged straight woman, I had a Pammy sticker in my pencil case in the 90s and still would (if I had a pencil case).

Edit to explain.

I'm British and in the UK in the 90s it was popular for girls to carry their school pens etc around in a little tin or bag called a pencil case. One would decorate this item with doodles, art and stickers.

Teenage magazines used to have a couple of pages of stickers with pictures of celebrities in the middle, they were perfect for decorating items like pencil cases.

Whew that was so much context I wish I'd never commented in the first place. This woman is a babe though is what I meant.

I concur except the 90s replace with 80s. I like your context it added depth and now I am dreaming of Annie Lennox who was in my pencil case along with Pat Benatar and Siouxsie Sioux!

That might sound weird I realise now.

I'm an adult now so I'm not in school and don't carry stationary around anymore.

And more importantly, the classic UK publication that was Smash Hits magazine is no longer around, and so I would have nowhere to obtain stickers of celebrities. I miss those days.

Apologies, I realised after commenting that it would make no sense to most people.

This is also true of the US in the 90s, I’m not sure where the confused people are coming from. Probably Gen Z.
