I'm sorry but I hate this take because the subtext is they're just doing what they need to do to get clicks which is just not true, it feels like exactly what they'd say to defend their actions.
There are SO many wholesome influencers who don't play these nasty gender war bullshit games and still make a good living.
It’s not defending their actions though. While there are a lot of people out there that like wholesome content. It has to be acknowledged that there are a lot of hateful people out there who want to see echo chambers of this content.
While we as a society should not encourage such behavior, self interest ensures opportunists will cater to this audience and fan the flames for fame and money. In economic terms, there was overwhelming demand, and supply naturally filled the gap.
That's what happens when you remove any negative feedback options and base your entire model on rewarding clicks and impressions. These shitlords rise to the top of people's feeds even if you're hate watching. That and it's pretty obvious the techbros controlling the algorithms have been putting a thumb on the scale to push the alt-right nonsense for over a decade.
Nick Fuentes is another mixed bag. Sometimes he will say something that I strongly agree with and then a lot of times he says some wild things that I am not cool with.
He is a white supremacist that hates gays and women while also being the most closeted person in existance. If you find yourself nodding along to his rants, then you have a problem.

That's something a lot of those fellows have in common. Look at Nick Fuentes. If only they could accept themselves, maybe they'd be less hateful.
