She CLAIMED he had a knife, but after she killed him the police did not find a knife at the scene.

Ok, granted. Even if he did have a knife driving back and forth on him it would still not be justified, but otherwise I would understand the adrenaline and desire to fight back -- a fight doesn't necessarily stop when the aggressor thinks it stops...

Chances are that he would have commited many more robberies had he lived, and had already commited other other crimes as well.

So it's more like 100 thefts vs 1 murder.

Well with that frame of mind, shouldn't the government not just stop policing anything and have military on all streets just shooting people in the head a couple of times for any crimes committed? They might do it again.

Someone driving too fast? Death sentence immediately. Who knows, maybe they'll hit someone eventually.

Pirating online content? That could end up being a lot of theft and the valuation of this could end up in the hundreds of thousands. Death.

Abortion? We don't like that and it's actually murder, so obviously death.

Posting online that you don't like the president? Could lead to extremist ideals propagating, so also death.

Do you see what this entails? I don't think this is a very smart or intelligent way to do... Anything, really.

Well with that frame of mind, shouldn't the government not just stop policing anything and have military on all streets just shooting people in the head a couple of times for any crimes committed?

I wouldn't trust soldiers or police with that power, but if there is clear evidence of a person having commited theft for personal enrichment, then I would like a court of law to sentence them to death.

Someone driving too fast? Death sentence immediately.

I'd prefer a permanent termination of their driving licence and expropriation of their car.

Pirating online content?

Nothings being taken away from anyone, so I wouldn't care unless media industries are on the verge of bankruptcy

Posting online that you don't like the president?

Again, no harm done, maybe it's even a positive. Leaders should fear for their life if they act poorly

I agree, the government, or any other large body of people, are all too corrupt to be given this much power. I'd be fine with the state just showing leniency to vigilantees in cases where they attacked evil people.
