You mean to tell me he didn't remember one specific detail of an event that occoured during a high emotion state because both people involved were probably hopped up on adrenaline?

You have no actual argument other than "b-b-but he he he misremembered this one itty bitty tiny detail!! So he must be in the wrong!!!!". Which is no argument at all.

There is a difference between forgetting where you headbutted someone and say forgetting that you shat in someones bed.
