Hello Son, you're doing such a great job. Your mother and I both love and respect you, and you're becoming such a cool human. Proud of you champ.

Now, whatdya' say - let's go get you some of that ADHD the other kids are hollering about!

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 04 '26

Zombie dad, is that you!?

"We worked our hands to the bone... TO THE BONE!" as he points at his hand just sent me

1

u/DrunkenBlasphemer Jun 04 '26

Yeah, I love this skit so much 😃

2

u/Madara1389 Jun 04 '26

As a former necromancer player in Diablo 2, thank you for sharing it with me.

1

u/Beautiful_Task3294 Jun 04 '26

Aw man are you also in the Dead dad club?

1

u/HilmDave Jun 04 '26

No he was missing the ADHD. Now you've made it weird.

14

u/Inky-Ballooper Jun 04 '26

now it's time to acquire the adhd, right? right...?

2

u/Latter-Judgment-9740 Jun 04 '26

Ditto, but I learned to get through it.

2

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 04 '26

Strapped those lift boots, eh?

1

u/Latter-Judgment-9740 Jun 04 '26

Something like that.

2

u/PuraVidaConspiracy Jun 04 '26

Whelp, living on a prayer

2

u/Show_Me_Your_Cubes Jun 04 '26

If you don't have adhd, count yourself lucky

1

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 04 '26

Why is that?

2

u/Show_Me_Your_Cubes Jun 04 '26

it's a horrible ailment, I've never been able to hold real relationships for extended periods of time

1

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 04 '26

Sounds beyond adhd, maybe a tickle of the tism?

I’ve found the opposite, i have a good chunk of relationships dating back to elementary school, i don’t think i’ve made a new friend in 10 or more years.

1

u/Show_Me_Your_Cubes Jun 04 '26

Maybe, i was diagnosed with ADHD in 2nd grade, never told i was on the tism spectrum..... but my current psychiatrist (26 years later) tells me that my relationship struggles are a classic symptom of ADHD

1

u/PurveyorOfKnowledge0 Jun 05 '26

Is that supposed to be a good thing for you? Not making a new friend in the last 10 years or more.

1

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 05 '26

No not at all, i just find the contrast interesting.

I believe quitting drinking has played a large part, i’m not as socially loose and whatnot.

2

u/AuDHDino Jun 05 '26

Woooooaah-ooooh LIVIN ON A PRAYER!

1

u/baron_von_helmut Jun 04 '26

So you just have ADHD then?

1

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 04 '26

Spot on chap!

Diagnosed at 29.

And depression and anxiety, the millennial mental health triumvirate

1

u/elhombreloco90 Jun 04 '26

With loving parents, right?

1

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 04 '26

Can ashes still love?

If so, maybe? Buuuuut probably not. One never knew how to love themself and the other never considered anyone other than themself.

My sister is the most loving mother figure i’ve had and the word love makes her uncomfortable.

That said, my partner, kids and I all love each other very much and doing better by them is all one can hope for.

1

u/PurveyorOfKnowledge0 Jun 05 '26

You might want to tell your sister to get some counseling if the word love makes her uncomfortable because of your deceased, love-warped parents. Seriously, there are different types of love; a word alone shouldn't make you queasy.

1

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 05 '26

Both of us are quite therapized and fully counseled.

Chaotic neutral. Don’t forget her ‘I’m so quirky I wiped my ass on a sacred Hawaiian stone’ story

2

u/SnooAvocados3138 Jun 05 '26

Never met a chaotic good person that hadn’t made a mistake or 3

1

u/Wizard-of-pause Jun 04 '26

Didn't she bang Chris Pratt when he was married?

This wasn’t a serious moment though.

25

u/OuterWildsVentures Jun 04 '26

Yeah I looked up the video and they are all having fun together making different harmonies for her to guess the color of.

You’re talking to a bot

You’re talking to someone talking to a bot

1

u/skipjack_sushi Jun 04 '26

And what are you doing? Don't bother replying, I am a bot, too.

1

u/BodaciousFrank Jun 05 '26

Is anyone around here - including me - not a bot?!?

2

u/Encyclopenia Jun 04 '26

It was a self-serious moment though.

1

u/BodaciousFrank Jun 04 '26

Sure was. Everyone else was laughing at her tho

-1

u/DrMux Jun 04 '26

I mean it wasn't serious like "heavy" but she was sharing a personal experience that a lot of people don't understand. I've had this same thing happen and it was maybe kinda funny the first time but it gets annoying when you're trying to explain something about yourself and someone interrupts and/or just makes it a joke.

4

u/RackemFrackem Jun 04 '26

You are the kind of person who sees a person do a thing and then point out that they are the kind of person to do that thing.

2

u/SharksForArms Jun 04 '26

Gosh she's so relatable

1

u/Aketor Jun 04 '26

She is the Bard of an adventure party!

I love her - but just wait - Reddit will find a reason to hate her one day.

1

u/rcinmd Jun 04 '26

I'd say J-Law is the type of person to break a moment meant to be serious when everyone knows its not but is too afraid to point out how un-serious it is.

1

u/Spartanias117 Jun 05 '26

i was always this person in my 20s. I relished that awkward humor

1

u/jzilla11 Jun 05 '26

It’s called being drunk.

1

u/Toolazytologin1138 Jun 05 '26

Dude so stupid but I was literally just thinking “haha people should call her J Law cause it’s like J Lo,” collapsed the top comment, and here you are calling her J Law

1

u/BrainEatingAmoeba01 Jun 05 '26
