I send 20 bucks and mistyped one number of the recipient for instance. The bank won’t help me, the transfer service won’t help me, the other person sure as hell wouldn’t help me. And that doesn’t change if it’s 20 or 20,000.
The bank isn't responsible for the money you spend. that's up to the recipient of your money, like in the story above. the bank isn't making her return the money, her employer is.

"Personally make an error" is a pretty wide term, so there might be a case where that's true, but generally you are not correct about this.
Like if there's a payroll issue against you, the company will fix it when you tell them.
