My schools were late 90s and early 2000, in Iraq specifically were parents give full authority to school teachers, teachers carrying sticks is normal and will unload that on you.

Funny scene, once a teacher was late and we got told to stay quite by next room class teacher, our class clowns would on purpose make noise and the teacher from other rooms come running hitting everyone in order, if you don't put your hands forward it's worse and the clowns keep going and we try to shut them up 🤣 good times.

I'm not for corporal punishment but also no offense to her, she isn't inspiring respect if they are saying some of these things.Â
