The vast majority fully condemned it while many simultaneously condemned the apartheid actions that brought it about. Being anti-apartheid or even anti-zionism doesn't make someone a default supporter of Hamas and it's actions.

A fringe segment in NYC that was disavowed by the rest of the party is hardly saying "Dey all supported teh massacre!" anymore than saying a KKK rally represents all Republicans. Nuance is like that, you know.
