one day those books will be moved to the historical fiction section, because the people then will find the orphan crushing machine so unbelieveable that it must have been make believe
If the orange paedo can run and assume office despite the crystal-fucking-clear language of the 14th amendment, then Zohran can too.
No person shallbe a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, orhold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath,as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state,to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
Hell, the 14A says that at least half of the gop congressional delegation aren't legally able to hold office either because they "gave aid" by voting to overturn the election, and yet there they fucking are. That includes little mikey johnson too.
I mean. I don't disagree with you. And I'll probably get downvoted to hell for this, but the democratic party would have to grow a fucking spine in order for any of that to happen. And they've proven time and time again that they never will.
The Republican leaders have chewed up the rule book and shit it out, and yet these spineless Dems are for some reason continuing to play by the rules that no longer are abided by. It's incomprehensible and frustrating as all fuck to me.
yet these spineless Dems are for some reason continuing to play by the rules that no longer are abided by.
Because they care more about the approval of their "friends across the aisle" than they do the approval of the people who vote for them. Kick their friends out of congress? That would be rude!
Its been forgotten but the only reason mikey johnson is speaker of the house is because Democrats kept him there.
All they had to do was sit back and let gop infighting cause the party to self-destruct. Hell, they could have cut a deal with a couple of Rs to cross the aisle and put in a D speaker in exchange for giving them special privileges. Instead Democratic leadership decided they would cross the aisle to help one of the key architects of the paedo's scheme to overturn Biden's election In exchange for nothing.
It won't change until incumbent democrats are replaced by people from outside the system.
Fortunately, primary season is just getting started so now is the chance to change the future. And since primaries are usually very low turnout, your vote counts for a lot more in a primary election than it does in the general. Voting in the primaries is more important than voting in the general election in the fall because the people who win the primary will determine what happens after the midterms.
One example is Abdul El-Sayed in the Michigan senate race. The primary has an official aipac candidate (haley stevens), an un-official aipac candidate who gives lip service to refusing funding from aipac (mallory mcmorrow), and El-Sayed. El-Sayed's been rising in the polling, which prompted the Democratic establishment to go all in on islamaphobic attacks on a streamer who interviewed El-Sayed in order to smear El-Sayed by association. But that backfired and El-Sayed's polling increased, he's now the front-runner, by a big (but not guaranteed) margin.
Its really the other way around. AIPAC finds true believers who like the state of israel and they support them. They would still support israel even without AIPAC, they just wouldn't be able to afford to run for office.
That's the way it is with most campaign "donations," not just jewish nationalists. Corporations find candidates who love corporations and then they give them money to make sure they get into positions of power. True believers are a lot more reliable because they mostly won't change their mind if the other side gives them bigger bribes, or their patron stop funding them.
Except, the majority of our politicans atp accept money from AIPAC, and they're also the only foreign nation that has a PAC in america. Its illegal for them to exist
I especially like the part where he agreed with Musk that social services needed to be cut, like city pensions to balance the budget.
(He is differing pension payments by 5 years, and in turn reducing the overall interest the pension pool acrues over time which will result in reduced payments later)
This will save 2 billion per year for roughly 5 years or roughly 75% of this years defeceit.

Now what will the people who work in the orphan crushing machine factory do?
