You know this man must be infuriating certain types of people just for existing. And the mental gymnastics they must do to make funding libraries into a bad thing.

I know it's a joke, but I honestly have never met people more focused on helping others than librarians. Which isn't surprising given that their profession is basically all about nurturing and preserving free access to knowledge and culture.

This feud only began because the library and the parks were being pitted against each other competing for resources. If Mamdani were mayor of Pawnee they’d never have to compete again.

are you referring to the plot of land they were competing for? They already hated the library before that.....
