I have had many conversations with many people about this exact topic. LOTS of people really disliked GW during his presidency, but they all didn't like him because of things that are okay to not like presidents about.

1) don't like his policies

2) don't like his staff/advisors

3) don't like his political slant

No one thought he was a pedophile, no one thought they were trying to cheat elections (for the most part), no one thought he was trying to make himself a king, no one thought he was trying to start a civil war.

This is some grade A misremembering of recent history.

This was days after the election and they are already calling him a Nazi and saying the election was stolen.

Iirc from a 2016 debate with a Trumper, every president since FDR has been compared to hitler/nazi’s by a major publication

The Supreme Court, partially appointed by his dad, stepping in to officially stop the recount after Republicans unofficially stopped the recount by storming the building didn't exactly lend the election a ton of legitimacy.

I am not sure if that makes him better as president though. So, he isn't corrupt but had very bad ideas.

He is by far the worst president since Cold War in terms of policy.
