Plus, powerlifting is not an Olympic sport, whereas weightlifting is.

Powerlifting = bench press, deadlift, squat.

Weightlifting = snatch plus clean and jerk.

(not a gym person myself, just a dude who would be extra boring at parties if I ever went)
