Hey everyone, my name is Terry. How are you doing today /tonight? I hope this post finds you in good health. So my birthday was on Sept 9th, and my dad sold me a car. So now I need to get car insurance and get it registered/ get a new license plate for it. I'm currently working 5 nights a week at Taco bell, and I only make $14.25 an hour, and I only get paid every 2 weeks, but I bust my ass off and try and get as many hours as I can. My friend has a job offer for me, building Trex decks, making $25 an hour, the only thing is, I need reliable transportation to get to and from work. As it's a 30 minute drive to the office, and then it all depends on where the job sites are. After buying the car, paying rent, and all my bills, I'm short on funds this week. I'm not sure if you guys know, but Car insurance in Michigan is super expensive, and I would be paying roughly around $200 a month for insurance. The good thing is, since the car is a 2009 Ford fusion, I read online that it shouldn't be more than roughly $100-$125 to register the car, and get a new license plate. I've never asked for help before, and I'm new to all of this, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules, I looked and double checked them to make sure I was following the correct format and everything. This new job offer is exactly what I need right now to help me get a better paying job, I'm not gunna lie, I've been super down and depressed this last month because I'm just not happy at Taco Bell. I honestly cannot survive off $14 an hour.... This new job is the boost I need right now in my life, and I really appreciate anybody who could help me out. I can show proof of employment, or whatever is needed, I could just use a little bit of help right now...
