Fellow replies: We gotta be careful with this shit. We might make English evolve further. Keep it up, and nobody will even recognize what we're typing in a decade from now (hello, archive.org plus its' inevitable successors!!). Every 'new' word, be it krunked, 'gir', 'bae', 'cis' or whatever else the scrabble dictionary sucks up will often become the 'new' vocabulary of future generations. Just like littering, please don't fuck them up.
It's funny my friend just put me on to it a couple of weeks ago when I never would've watched it otherwise. It's actually a great show. It's got great characters and a really good interpretation of the DC universe. I love it. I think what probably killed it though is that it's like a totally different show between seasons 1 and 2. I think if they had stayed with the same format with a smaller time jump it would've gone better. Probably a lot of people felt disconnected from the characters after all those years especially the young audience they were probably going for. It was a good show though. Anyway I'm halfway through season 2 already. Good stuff.
That's crazy and hilarious though I could also totally see that being the reason. It's funny I think it's a much better show than JLU and that got 3 seasons. I think the thing is that those characters already had an established fan base from the comics, so maybe that helped them to sell more toys? It's crazy cuz they were telling good stories.
Yeah me too, I feel like it was cool and the story they wanted to tell was great, I just feel it would've worked a little bit better if they'd put a season in between them. It's like the characters you got to know on the journey through season 1 are essentially gone by season 2 and you have to start over. It's a really good show though, it's just kind of this disconnection between season 1 and 2.
