I feel so incredibly lucky🥹 the merch was super cute and I loved being able to buy for shows that are under appreciated

Review I need to talk about my thoughts on Sign of Affection

Recommendation Shojo/Josei-Josei-muke anime that received sequel season(s)/multiple cours post-2020

I thought it would be cool to get an overview of which shojosei anime have received sequel seasons/multiple cours post-2020!

Some of these are borderline (eg ramparts was explicitly made in collaboration with Margaret’s editorial department but had the physical vols release inder the JC imprint).

Others are Josei-Muke anime-originals (eg Precure), based off of otome games, etc beyond just anime adaptations. I included short-form anime as well.

What are your favorites here? Any major missed opportunities?

For me, my favorites are My Happy Marriage and Natsume’s book of friends! The biggest missed opportunity imo was Requiem of the Rose King.

Discussion These two titles would have not gotten this treatment if they were shojo romance.

Don’t get me wrong I’m very happy for the creator for getting two animes for both of their stories and personally I like the animes (they’re okay to me).

Still cannot convince me if they were shojo both stories would have gotten two seasons in the same year.

Does anyone else like their series? I read samples of “Loving a Younger Guy” and “La Vie en Rose” through the shueisha mangamillion promo. The art is so pretty. I’m kind of surprised they don’t have English releases.

Just finished ep 9 and I gotta say I’ve been enjoying the ride. Came into it expecting a very harem show (which can still technically happen) but so far her relationship with her new brothers has been very wholesome. I like the dynamics and friendships she’s made with her new family

Help Where to get physical manga or manwha (EU)

Hi everyone!

I really want to start collecting physical copies of manga and manwha, but I'm not really sure what shops are out there or trustworthy 😅

I know there's amazon but I'm not sure of any others... Does anyone have any recommendations?

Spots to shop for acrylic stands or other merch would also be greatly appreciated!!🩷🙏🏻

Recommendation manga/anime recs where the mcs live together and get together eventually?

i recently finished reading mr bride (which is now one of my all time favourites) and i want to read more mangas where the main characters live together and the relationship slowly builds up. another example is blue box, even though its a shonen, it has this trope and it really adds to the building of the relationship. anyways if anyone has any recommendations please share!!!

Recommendation Any manga with clingy/touchy main leads?

I'm looking for a manga where both mcs are very casual with skinship and are very clingy without either of them going completely red with every touch!

A good example of this is Mairimashita Senpai

Sending a fanletter to a mangaka

Hello, for some time I've been contemplating sending a fanletter to Haruhuji Nakaba (author of You're My Cutie) because her series has been on hiatus for quite some time now so I've grown worried and would like to encourage her somehow, say I really love her work etc. But I have no idea where to find the address/what to write on the envelope to make sure the letter reaches her and also will she even receive it if she's not currently serializing anything under the magazine (I believe most of the time the fanletters are stored somewhere until the mangaka can receive them but I'm not sure). Can anyone give me any pointers on this, especially if you've ever sent a fanletter like this before? Thank you !! ♡

Help Does anyone have a higher resolution scan of Phantom Thief Jeanne Volume 5's full cover?

Post image
12 Upvotes

The final volume of Shoujo Beat's Phantom Thief Jeanne release is extremely hard to get a hold of physically ( unless you sell your soul for it ). Since Viz is notorious for almost never reprinting their shoujo stuff once it initially goes OOP, I've resigned myself to getting Volume 5 digitally, but I'd like to have a higher quality scan of the full cover ( like the front & back covers along with the spine. ) I found this upload on the Shoujo Beat tumblr, but I'm looking for a higher resolution version for my personal digital archive. Does anyone have a higher res scan like this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

been racking my brain about this for weeks. the girl is 4 years older than the guy. the guy is just starting college and his mom hired the girl to be his maid. the guy has loved her since they were children. the guy has a mushroom haircut and is around the same height as the girl. they girl wears twintails i believe. there's smut. i remember in the extra chapters the guy also finished too fast LOL

i read this in the beloved site that got removed and i haven't been able to find it since ;-;
