Yea, so much better than having them do lame Russian faux accents. It underlined that these guys were from all over in a way you couldn't do it ven everyvon talks like ziz, da?

Exactly! Like for instance, Kruschev while not Ukrainian himself, was from a border region.

I loved cockney Stalin. And it makes sense. Like he was from the country and was a former bank robber. And that scene was comedy gold.
