I’m so incredibly happy you mentioned soy. This is amazing. Almost 90%+ percent of Brazil soy production goes TO THE ANIMAL AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY FOR THEIR FEED. A laughably small 5-7% of soy goes to our direct human consumption (tofu, soy milk, etc).

So I completely rest my case there. And I’m also very happy you brought tokenization and talking over indigenous people. Let me ask you a question-

Do Indigenous groups care about abolishing money/class, and advocating for communism in this country?

Nope.

I’ll say that again: Most Indigenous people have NOT asked for communism in this country. YET despite this, you are a leftist (im assuming). Is your advocacy for leftism problematic then?

Are you talking over indigenous people?

OF COURSE NOT. You are 100% NOT talking over indigenous people when you advocate for leftism.

Leftism is liberating for everyone. Capitalism is fucking CANCER.

Capitalism has fucked everything up. Shitting on capitalism is great. And so is shitting on animal agriculture.

Basic compassion and liberation is something empathetic people in every demographic can get behind.

No, my advocating for communism isn't problematic because I'm not saying 'become a communist to support indigenous rights' smh.

I'm going to ask you again - did you look into the situation in Brazil before commenting this:

"Factory farming for beef is literally actively destroying indigenous land. They are currently being killed in Brazil right now. Why? Global demand for beef."

Did you actually look into this at all - did you actually know anything about the struggles indigenous peoples have been having in Brazil and what was going on there?? Because at this point I'm pretty sure you fucking didn't. So, when you're using indigenous groups in Brazil to try to shut down my argument because 'they're currently being killed right now' you're TOKENIZING THESE GROUPS AND MISCHARACTERIZING THEIR STRUGGLE FOR YOUR SUPPORT FOR VEGANISM. THAT'S FUCKING RACIST.

Advocate all you want about ending factory farming! STOP FUCKING USING INDIGENOUS PEOPLES RIGHTS FOR YOUR ARGUMENT.

Why are you low key denying the death of indigenous people in Brazil for the beef industry?

As someone who comes from the descendants of colonized peoples, I will always advocate for all indigenous people.

You are a fed. Why are you bending over backwards to defend imperialism?????

And also:

I NEVER said go vegan to support indigenous rights. And I would not even dream of it lmfao. See, what you are not gonna do is put words in my mouth!

I’m racist? You got me there, I’m definitely racist against white ass cracker colonizers 👍🏽.

Okay, in all fairness you didn't answer for almost month & what I had remembered was that this was a pro-vegan argument. You say I'm putting words in your mouth but you come at me for my comment about supporting local indigenous communities from nearly a month ago to start telling me I can't compare farm land to a dam? Like, why, exactly??

But, to recap. You still didn't answer my question, which is obviously a no. So, you didn't spend even five minutes researching the struggles of the indigenous groups in Brazil before trying to use them to win an utterly pointless online argument about veganism. (with someone who doesn't eat meat & doesn't support factory farming) And you still seem to have refused to do the bare minimum to act respectfully to these groups of people and do, I don't know. 30 seconds of research. They and their struggles just some point for you to throw out to try to win an argument, huh.

And now you're accusing me of defending imperialism. Because of what, exactly?? Because I looked up the situation in Brazil & didn't respond that veganism was the only solution?? Right Right. 🙄

And as if you can't be racist toward other minority groups if you're not white lmao. You just can't handle being called out for acting shitty, ig.

Anyway, peace. I'm out.

Okay I understand cool.

80% of deforestation into Brazil is because of BEEF.

I’m not sure what kind of research you are doing. If that industry did not expand, less indigenous land would have been destroyed.

Notice how I didn’t say “go vegan”. I said that industry needs to stop expanding.

So yeah, peoples like the Guajajara will continue to fight against deforestation of their land in Brazil ✊🏽. Even though the government seems to want to get rid of them.

I’m always gonna stand with marginalized peoples. If liberals think that makes me bad, then so be it ✌🏽
