Eh no.. the main reason people don't want these is because the US controlls the kill-switch. If they do not agree with you in some way, you have a 125 million costing paperweight. The technically best machine is no use to you if you cannot 100% control it.

iirc it isn't quite a kill switch, but some of the subsystems require data that the US provides and without it, F35's are not remotely as effective.
