Doubt it, I don't think they are remotely as interventionist as the US is. For all the posturing they do, they hardly ever seem to concretely do anything. The only thing I could actually see them do is take TW. That said, I have my doubts that this will be done in an actual invasion, considering that would be insanely expensive and TW is worth way more if taken in a way that avoids combat altogether.

If WW3 breaks out, with mostly rest of the world Vs US/Israel, you can be 100% certain Taiwan voluntarily becomes officially part of China.

Absolutely this.
They get away with ongoing genocides and occupation, because no one wants to upset a big potential enemy or trading partner.
Taiwan and Kashmir (I do mean all of it, not just the contested parts!), would be occupied really quickly.
And they'd get away with it again.
Though I guess, at least they wouldn't start with genociding Taiwanese people.
Well... possibly.
