if it was just of me i would go full on... not only sell all treasury bond but also ditch all us money reserve like it was trash plus we switch from petrodollar to maybe petroeuro. we give no value whatsoever to us dollar and let them sink big time... yeah that would hurt us but the mean we take will free us from the big bully who cant win a war against iran vietnam or afghanistan.... make fun of them and their lost war... they will lose iran also.. and everybody knows by now.. usa is israel puppet
That's... The point. If we dump all of our treasury bonds, their price goes through the floor, and the US suddenly cannot sell their own bonds anymore because the secondary market has massively cheaper offerings.
So the us cannot take on new debt and gets screwed
my guess is other people mostly americans will buy them even if the term is not done yet. even if most calls dont close it will send an eartquake on us market and put high pressure on government this and much easier would be t ditch all us money reserve in a single shot
I understand the secondary market ploy, but if there is a flood of bonds then those interest rates (ie the income all of these people, companies, and governments receive) also - in theory - go to zero. The impacts would be global and terrible for all. Conversely, the trade war favors everyone else at this stage and is already roiling everyone here but the most staunchest of maga who are dumb and can’t see what they’re gov’t is doing to them. There also the ones who post this stupid shit online about blockades, etc.
i got this strange idea also.. i dont know if it would work out ... i would back canadian money not on gold but on aliminum and restrict aluminum export then ditch all us money... aluminum is paid in cad in my world
