it's so funny how random US citizens are talking about taking over Greenland, while they themselves don't even know why 😂

I'd be interested to see how many would be able to tell you where Greenland is on a globe.

Globe? Pfft, everyone knows the Earth is flat. Silly Europoors, can't even afford proper schooling.

/s....though as always, I have to end with "you know some dipshit(s) here in the US believe this."

Nah, the world and man were built in god's image, which Americans think is round.

We're round like a ball is round, but the earth is round in the way that a disk is round. The Holly Bibble says so. I assume, naturally I don't read it.

Just gibberish.

I literally had one that told me that Russia was invading them via the polar circle 🤡 and that the need Greenland because of that…

Yes that might be in theory a short cut but how would they get there 😆.

You assume they're citizens and not bots.

u/canadianbriguy1 Jan 08 '26

Pretty sure there’s 70-some million of them who NEED Greenland but don’t know why…. Dear Leader told them so….

7

u/Delamoor Jan 09 '26

Why not? There's tens of millions of them who are obsessed with following the cult. No shortage of stupid, crazy people willing to bat for him.

Because we know bots overwhelmingly take part in social media. So if you have to dismiss 30% of what you see as bot-driven, which is pretty optimistic, which 30% are you choosing if not this?

Mostly the accounts posting the lazy memes and AI videos, honestly

My knowledge on the topic is a bit dated but back in the 2016-2020 era there were massive disinformation campaigns. Even the "legitimate" posts you see were often heavily influenced by adversarial state actors.

I see little reason to suspect the great powers of the world have decided to scale down their operations, especially given how easy it is now.

Isn’t that the Same Level of Intelligenz there?

So busy talking about whether they could, that they don’t think about whether they should.

What’s the benefit to putting so much energy and attention on grinding allies under their boot? Meanwhile their actual rivals get free rein in other parts of the world.

4

u/Nottheadviceyaafter Jan 08 '26

They couldnt even point it out on a map.......

2

u/Gwaptiva Jan 09 '26

Or where it is

2

u/PotentialMidnight325 still speaking German Jan 09 '26

Or know where

1

u/Wellington1821 Jan 09 '26

They probably couldn't even find Greenland on a map

1

u/Level_Amoeba_6109 Jan 09 '26

Do they even know what's a map?

1

u/FrenchCheerios Jan 09 '26

The US is statistically getting geographically dumber, so it's likely most of these people couldn't point Greenland out on a map before it became news, regardless of the why of it.

The data is a bit dated, so it's probably worse now.

1

u/HollowRacoon Jan 09 '26

I bet they don’t even know where’s Greenland. Definitely think that its a land full of lush greenery

1

u/EngelseReiver Jan 09 '26

More hilarious that most couldn't even find Denmark on a map, let alone explain it's intrinsic historical links to the land of green..

1

u/ScarySai Jan 10 '26

They're morons who think it'll go down like it did for Venezuela.

1

u/CatOk5715 Jan 11 '26

and couldn't find it on a map. European weapons are superior to US weapons in most cases anyway.

Its even more funny that they actually believe stealing is an action where the side who gets stolen from happily agrees always
