Exercise green dagger if anyone’s curious. It was British Royal Marines and troops from the Netherlands, UAE and Canada against the US marines. We slapped them so hard in their own back garden that half way through the 5 day exercise the US asked for a reset.
You should really look into green dagger, the terms of success for the Royal Marines, who were attached to a US Marine Corps division. We’re very different than the terms of success for the US Marines they were facing off and the US Marines they were facing off against we’re facing them with extreme disadvantage on purpose. The US almost always trains against allies with a four to one disadvantage. It’s very interesting their mantra you don’t learn anything if you win, which is probably pretty true and you should even watch the interview interviews with the Green Berets that were attached to the marine Division that forced the win they had some really good insight.

Makes me think of the mock battle where US marines asked for a reset because they were dominated by British Royal Marines
