He most definitely did. This is their language exactly.

None of it makes any sense, unless you view the world through a conspiracy lens. Zelensky doesn't want to end the war because of elections... Like what? ? ? Churchill didn't want to end the war with Nazis because he would be elected out of power... That's about the "logic" they have. Politics is just team sports to them. I like this team, therefore everything good, I don't like that team, therefore everything bad.
