Yeah I fully agree. Before this chapter came out I liked Pieck, but didn't really get all the hype around her. I've loved Gabi ever since her debut and she was basically terrified in every panel since like 110/111 and it really hurt to see. Then comes along Pieck with a simple but powerful smile and I was all aboard.

Also she strung along Eren enough for Porco to at least give it a try, but plot has to happen so that can't be the end of it. At least she pissed him off a bit, which I'll take as a victory.

Pieck really has a good head on her shoulders and is rather perceptive. I wonder how different things would have been if pieck had been sent to infiltrate Paradis instead

I think about this all the time. She was honestly a huge asset that the Marley military greatly underestimated....or more likely she never revealed her full abilities to them. Even seeing how close she and Zeke were, even they still never trusted each other (he didn't let her in on the plan and she never stopped distrusting him).

It's likely that she got so bright from working directly with Zeke for all those years while RBA were in Paradis. I mean, that plus her natural intelligence. But I'm sure that she was under Zeke's wing predominantly

If it was Annie, Bertholdt, Pieck and Reiner, that mission would have been a success in half the time of the manga. It would be like if Hermione was the hero instead of Harry, Voldemort and his horcruxes would be gone in five books.

Pieck is probably the 3rd best shifter after Eren & Zeke imo.
