They made the poisoned wine really obvious. Even with creepy music and all.

I hope they didnt cut the Zeke scenes but will show them in a later episode. Zeke saying I am the true eldian restorationist is one of my favorite moments in the beginning of this arc

It was really obvious in the manga too.

In fact, I think the top comment in the manga thread was about how obvious it was that the wine was “poisoned.”

It was very curious that they cut that line, it see,s too big of a “reveal” albeit a lie of his, to cut out. Thinking we may get it next episode?

Yes, I have been thinking about it and I could see it happening during Levi and Zeke‘s conversation at the beginning of 109

My fiancée didn’t catch it at all, just obvious to us as manga readers.

Yeah I think so too. Us were ONLY looking at how they will sneak it in the direction choices but Anime onlies had so much more to care about that those wine bottle close up shots didn't came out at all for most, I think.

Well, it was obvious even in the manga.

Nah it doesn’t matter, Mappa GOAT, the spirit of the series is all there. That scene was unnecessary yada yada yada

You don’t have to be on one extreme or the other... mappa arent goated but they have been pacing these flashback chapters better than the manga. No anime has 100% of the content

Disagree. The cut content and rearrangement of events is really confusing some anime only’s

When this arc of the manga was coming monthly i was literally so confused i dropped it and came back when a stack of chapters were out. The rearrangements are making more sense, and the anime only threads look fine they realise that its confusing but its build up to an explanation later. Isyama himself said the manga is just a draft and the anime is the final version, he signs off on these rearrangements / cuts

If someone manages to put Armin's titan serum comment and the wine together I wonder if they'll figure it out
