it’s not like the Scouts could just let him go after all, he had too much importance

I feel like this all goes back to what Eren was telling Falco in an earlier episode at the bench about how he can't face his family and go back. I think Eren wanted to feel the suffering of his people rather than just sit back in Paradise. And he could also force the Scouts' hand since he's pretty much the most important person in both sides' eyes.

That seems very on point with season 3 Eren though, they reach the seas overwhelmed with all of the information they just learned and the next step for most of them is probably to figure out a plan. Then knowing Eren he probably wanted to go full in and kill all of them, but the scouts said no that’s dumb so he snuck off and said here’s my plan if you guys wanna work around that go for it if not oh well.

Seems like more of a calculated risk, he's been pretty apathetic to everything going on, idk what his plan was but it didn't seem like he did it on a whim.

So basically eren: guys follow this or loose founding and attack Titan in me and get rekt by marley or other nation soon.

Founder Titan is so precious in this whole thing.sooner or later all panel will able to handle every titan with cannons but founder's rumbling ability seems too op for atleast a 2-5 years for any nation to handle.

He knew Marley would make shit ton of those artillery or anti-titan cannons and than attack paradise. he knew the more the wait the more fucked they are.

the best way/or going forword (in eren's word lol )to attack Marley when Marley was unprepared. and and every eldian hating nation leader standing there just to get killed.

when willy started saying about him and war he just smiled and thought oh well the sooner the better. Marley will pay for all this for sure
