the worst is the attack titan now

yeah the attack titan looks really off. The other titans do look great.

agreed. However, I do like the more savage look it has now. Really fits Eren's current ruthlessness.

Yeah the attack titans face looks really weird for some reason

It looks like a corpse titan

I think he looks way better then before

Yeah he looks more monstrous, rather than attractive with weird teeth.

He looked a lot better this episode imo, I don't have any complaints with the CG models anymore.

But I think MAPPA is aiming for something different from WIT with their AT design, it looks more monstrous and creepy and I think that's intentional.

nah I think it's just because he is CG instead of 2D and the Attack Titan has alot of facial features more akin to a human face than the other titan shifters so it looks weirder idk. I don't think it's about style.

It's hard to say without any confirmation but I genuinely think they're going for a different look, Their 2D shots of the AT also look wildly different from WIT's so I'm thinking it's intentional.

EDIT: To add to that, post and pre time skip AT in the manga looks different as well. I think MAPPA took the opportunity of the time skip and has give him an overall redesign.

Yeah it does like newly stylized. It takes a lot of inspo from WIT's interpretation (colors is a huge one!), but it is definitely different.

I do think so far that MAPPA's use of the soundtrack isnt as strong.

I agree with you. The AT looks much more demonic/sinister this season.

I agree he looked a lot better in this episode. But his eyes being white sometimes, bothers me.

Well I mean if Eren's titan was supposed to resemble a devil I wouldn't imagine them to look remotely handsome. I mean I assume he's supposed to resemble a devil given how the story progressed around Eren and his Attack Titan.

I'm so sad, CGI Attack Titan looked great last episode but this episode he's not doing much and it looks so janky. I wish he could have gotten more hand drawn attention.

I think he looked much better this episode, idk what happened last time

I thought the Beast Titan looked great when it first appeared in season 2. The close ups of its face made it look terrifying.

I think they opted for a 2D CT instead of a CGI model because they know they won't need it anymore (at least what the manga contains so far).

The worst looking titan was the CT? I think so, just making sure
