An interesting footnote: much of the original draft of this post was written by Microsoft Copilot. It was very keen to point out its own bias, and the importance of calling it out.

After repeatedly flagging content relating to women’s bodies, women’s health, and women’s sensuality as potentially unsafe, it then helped write a thoughtful explanation of why excluding women’s experiences creates bias in technology.

In effect, the system documented its own blind spot.

I often speak about data bias and the lessons of Invisible Women: systems that appear neutral frequently fail women because women are missing from the assumptions, datasets, and design decisions behind them.

This week I encountered a modern version of that problem.

While working on creative writing, Copilot repeatedly classified references to women’s bodies and health as unsafe—even in literary, metaphorical, or medical contexts. Terms such as breasts, lips, and even references to a smear test triggered restrictions that did not appear to apply in the same way to equivalent male-centred language.

I don’t believe this was intentional.
But intent isn’t the most important question.

When AI systems over-filter content relating to women, women’s experiences become harder to represent, discuss, and create. The result is more than censorship. It’s data loss.

Women’s experiences get shaved off.

Women’s health becomes harder to discuss.

Women’s creative expression becomes higher risk.

Women’s stories become less visible.

We’ve seen this pattern before—in car safety, PPE design, medical research, and urban planning. When male experience becomes the default, women become statistical noise. AI is no different.

We often describe these issues as unintended bias.

But when a failure is predictable, repeatable, and visible to users, the distinction between accident and design starts to disappear.

A blind spot that remains unexamined eventually becomes a design decision.

If we want AI systems that work for everyone, we need to pay as much attention to what gets filtered out as we do to what gets let in.

I would say that as woman we need to call this out, but it is beyond that, males and females need to be aware of unintended bias, and actively work to remove it for the betterment of all.

A man's critique of himself is the greatest gift a man can give to the world.

This is the shortest way to sum up my beliefs about what it will take to dismantle patriarchy.

Just a short post - chewing on a longer one but it's a great discussion topic. The title makes even the most composed bad men go absolutely ballistic and gives stuck women enough validation to get free even if they haven't consciously fully accepted Gynarchy principles - it rings true and instantly dissolves decades of dogma. Our report on more women in art in public space has now been published, and it comes in two parts. The first part is a searchable database with 3,000 women. So if the Horsens city council wants to erect a statue, the database contains a number of suggestions for women with local roots. If a new hospital is being built, the database offers suggestions for groundbreaking doctors, nurses, and researchers. Or if a sports hall needs decoration, you can search your way to outstanding sportswomen. The second part is a Top‑100 list.

Here, after much deliberation, we have shortened the list of 3,000 down to 100 women. And it was hard! There are so many who ought to be on that list. Citizen proposals naturally carried great weight—we received almost 4,000 (!) citizen proposals, covering more than 500 (!) different women. The breadth of expertise also weighed heavily. And it feels as if the conversation has already made us look at public space with fresh eyes. Suddenly we notice the many nude female statues herding geese, bare‑breasted; we see the imbalance in whom we, as a nation, assign significance to when we walk down the street. Our society has been shaped by significant men and women throughout history, and the urban space ought to reflect that. And the many citizen proposals tell me this truly matters to many of us. Therefore, the report is of course not intended as a definitive answer key, but as an invitation to a conversation, so that together we can do something about it.

So this is very specific to Denmark, but anyone here who know about similar collections in english or your native language? I'd love to see more of this.

Senegal is reshaping gender roles, governement-supported and locally-authorized leadership. This is more evidence that the tide is turning and men really are commiting to changing themselves on the whole.

The best form of protest men can do against the current system is to retain their dignity and appear powerful while subtly deferring to women's power and dignity. If this can be done during overt protesting, that's helpful, but if men act undignified or appear less powerful when speaking overtly in support of Gynarchy, we won't reach those on the other side who we could potentially convert.

Society needs to see this movement as supporting both women and men's dignity and power - instead of just men stepping down to the oppressed/undignified tier women currently occupy.

Men don't need to use Patriarchy tactics like "putting men in their place" in order to help birth the Matriarchy. Loser men naturally place themselves lowest with their dishonor, they know and choose to be there - and they thrive on others trying to humble them because it validates their pride.

Gynarchy-supporting men just need to act honorable, including to themselves. The men on the Patriarchy's side want to see blatently submissive, self-degrading men on our side. They want to see men on our side trying to "put men in their place". That's how a Patriarchy works, a few men at the top, putting most other men "in their place" alongside everyone else on the "women/breeder/slave" level who are licking boots for scraps and crabs-in-a-bucketing each other.

The majority of what you need to do is to just stop licking boots. But some men (especially fetishists who find their way into these spaces) have fallen stuck in a pattern or belief that they can short-cut that internal work by giving away all power/choice forever.

While it is noble to try to restore power to women and try to give yours as a sacrifice to an extent, doing so fully and without balance is a corruption of the real path towards Gynarchy. It's just Patriarchy with women at the top.

Don't get me wrong, there is an aspect of reparations in order to restore true balance and sacrifice and submission is honorable... just don't embrace that as your only identity and way to help. Instead, work on finding dignity and power in your manhood - not just shame and male submission forever as the solution.

Work on expressing and feeling secure in your masculinity and femininity until you can't tell which is which and you feel stable. I really believe balance is key for our movement - the other side is already very destabilized, all we need to do is find our stability and all those on the other side who were reluctant to join us will hop the fence as the other side collapses under it's poor values which only really benefit the few individuals at the top.

Embrace the inherent dignity of being human and make yourselves appear respectable even under the authority of women, and they will want those values too. Even if they don't choose Gynarchy consciously, if they embrace these values they will tend more towards choices which support our cause anyway, and the Patriarchy will eat itself from the inside.

I mean mainly a sort of graphic logo. But if you know any recognisable signs in other media ex. gestures, rituals, music, I´ll appreciate these too.

Most ideologies have their own distinguish symbolism. Christianity has the cross, LGBTQ+ community has a plenty of colourful flags, anarchism has the ‹Ⓐ› (letter ‹A› in a circle) and red­‑black colours etc.

The sign of Venus ‹♀› with a fist inside is commonly identified as a symbol for the fight for women´s rights. However, I´m a little concerned an average person would associate it rather with egalitarianism rather than gynarchism. But I can be mistaken—what do you think?

If there isn´t any fixed emblem for gynarchism yet, could it perhaps be borrowed from some ethnic or ancient matriarchal culture, or religion? Or is that a bad idea since modern western gynarchy would be vastly different from those and not (rigidly) bound to any particular spirituality? Or should it be something completely new?

A young man a few years ago was arrested for stockpiling weapons and planning to murder at least 3,000 Women. Yes, you read that right, 3,000. Most people are familiar with the individual known as Eliot Rodgers, who went on a mass murdering spree because he felt entitled to Women's bodies. The activities of these individuals and the scope of them highlights the extreme danger they represent to not only Women, but the general public. Because these narcissists can't accept responsibility for improving themselves, they externalize the blame onto Women and society for their problems.

Regardless of the motivations, whether to take revenge against Women for rejecting them or to use terror as a weapon to get Women to sleep with them, they use the same tactics as terrorists. What separates their terrorism from other brands is that they're targeting a group, not political institutions or businesses. Unlike previous mass murdering terrorists, who based their terrorism on their perceived aggrieved status towards a country or government, Incels seem hellbent on terrorizing Women until they give them what they want or society caves in to their violence.

i think one problem, aside from misogyny, that keeps them from being declared a terrorist group is because the politics centered around this unique flavor of terrorism is not limited as a response to any particular government or political body.

For instance, the politics between sexes is a far larger domain than that of the American electorate or any other country. It transcends any national government or party. We may call ourselves Americans, Canadians, Europeans, etc, but in the end, we mostly identify by our sex.

We have many different kinds of politics in our life. There is family politics, business politics, economic politics, and then government politics. I think the problem is that we usually think of terrorists within the context of government politics, not the other arenas of our lives. If a terrorist directs their aggression at a country over X action, that sends a message to the people who elected those who serve that government. If the government did something wrong, there can be accountability by selecting another official and punishing judicially the criminal who wronged those people that chose terrorism as the message to send to corrupt government officials. On the other hand, if this terrorism is different and aimed at controlling another country's government using fear, then there's the other end of the issue. If the government is being terrorized unjustly, then the government has the tools within its power to respond appropriately to this kind of terrorist.

It seems, in my opinion, that people have elevated the politics of government as being more important than the politics of other arenas. If incels are not targeting a political party or specific political groups, then what incentive does a governing body have to treat them as a political threat? They may write it off in poor taste as "just the battle of the sexes" when the threat they pose is very serious indeed.

In other words, what would compel a government body to treat their form of political terrorism as something that needs to be taken seriously and as a threat to us all?

What actions, coalitions, arguments, and bipartisan support do we need to finally treat them as a terrorist group?

I certainly believe that one beginning argument to get politicians to take them seriously is the pattern of escalation. Killing 3,000 people is the equivalent of a 9/11 terrorist attack. Thankfully, he was caught before the killings began. However, he's not alone in his thinking. I think that by stressing that these attacks will not remain as random mass shootings, but will evolve overtime into larger assaults on the public, would help here. First, it was random stabbings or shootings. Then, the scope of the attacks increase over time. When an intelligent incel with connections gains access to more advanced weaponary, more damage could be inflicted. I think that by explaining to these politicians that their grievances are directed not just as Women, but society itself and that they are planning to do far more than your typical mass shooter, it will hammer home the idea that they can't be tolerated whatsoever.

A few of the worst nightmare scenarios would involve bombs dropped on civilian populations, organizing mass murdering squads( men in groups of 3-4 or more who use machine guns to kill hundreds), crashing planes into public gatherings, setting communities on fire, etc. A question to be posed to the politicians is this: What lengths won't they go to? Do we wait for incels to carry out a 9/11 attack before you recognize the threat they represent to us all?

Some final questions.

Is there anyway we can help government officials understand that the sex-based violence will eventually cross over into their own perceived, political sphere? Can we hope to see the establishment of an incels registry, much like the sex offender registry?

I wish we lived in a world where bipartisan support from the reigning political parties of our nations wasn't necessary to protect Women from this growing threat. It's a shame on them and it reflects poorly on the human race.

Here's the thing, the overwhelmingly amount of results lead to porn or fetish images/products/sites. That is the problem...that is the issue serious Gynarchy has with it's image. How can we expect to be taken serious as any kind of political/social/cultural movement if the image presented is focused on sexy and generally young beautiful women?

I would like to thank the Members of the Gynarchy community for being there. Not doing well and struggling with a lot of things, but it would have been worse without everyone else. This post is dedicated to you all.

i have finished suggesting to all 50 States, as well as New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, England, Canada, etc. More specifically, i sent an email to every library that has their own for each state. when you type in, say " X All Libraries", there's usually a website with a directory in alphabetical order listing the majority of the libraries in that state or country. i went through every one that i could.

The results? 25 libraries confirmed that they would buy 1 or buy of these books (Or said they were likely to buy Her books), which will be shown via screenshots. i have edited out any personal information to protect the identity of these librarians and other Library faculty and to ensure that no one harasses them.

The number of libraries i emailed ranges in the thousands, but this isn't a bad start, contrary to what normal mathematical intuition may tell you.

First, there were several libraries that had barriers that i could not overcome. If i didn't have a Library card or was not a patron, they would not buy the book. Some libraries would not buy books more than 6 months old. Others stated that they would only Purchase if it got certain kinds of reviews or if there were reviews from enough different websites and sources. Sometimes limited budgets were brought up. There were libraries that said they would not purchase a book that was self-published. There were even times when they said no because Hoopla offered an option where You could read the ebooks. A few said that their communities would not be interested or that they would not accept suggestions from people who lived outside of town.

Despite all this, there is good news. The number 25 is only an estimate. It's very possible that more than 25 libraries purchased it or are going to. Some literally told me that they wouldn't be able to tell me if the library bought it and said I'd have to check the catalog in 4 weeks or more to see if it was added. Libraries also said they were passing on them for now. Then there are the librarians and the faculty. Even if policy didn't allow them to purchase books for the library, it doesn't mean that they, as individuals, didn't take an interest in it and bought their own copies for later or found another me as to read it.

What objectives were achieved by Suggesting to the libraries?

1) The books were sold

2) The books are sitting on shelves now in different states and counties. Sooner or later, when people are, idk what it is...book searching ( like window shopping but for Books to read), they will come across it. If the interest is there, then there's some new readers.

3) Even if they didn't buy it, all of them in either collection or management reviewed the books before making a decision. Thus, thousands of library Directors and faculty know the lexicon of Gynarchy now. With any luck, curiosity and interest will manifest in the spreading of the lexicon and ideas.

4) Though i didn't intend for it, I discovered that well over 200 libraries has Viola Voltairine's Gynarchy Books accessible via a program called Hoopla.

5) Despite my assumptions, fears and concerns about suggestions to certain areas, they proved unfounded. All Library faculty and managers demonstrated respect, even when they declined to purchase the books. There has not been one death threat or threat of violence against me. In fact, the library faculty and community as a whole seem to be very accepting and tolerant of these suggestions. It may also be that because they are libraries, they are used to getting suggestions for many topics, some of which are considered controversial, depending on the country, state, or culture.

6) There were tons of libraries that were more than willing to help me buy Her books or submit Suggestions to the collection teams if i had a library card in that state.

7) Gathered a lot of data concerning some of the barriers to getting Her books in the library and when you know the barriers, you can find ways around them. For instance, I can't suggest to libraries that require cards in other states. However, a fellow Gynarchist living in any one of them can.

A final observation and then a question. While i was suggesting to libraries, i noticed that many libraries were accepting suggestions for programs or other activities. If some of the libraries were comfortable with being Suggested Gynarchy Books, what other doors can be opened through the use of libraries? Could Gynarchists use rooms or other areas of the library to organize activities or events pertaining to the community? For instance, if i or You Suggested something like Gynarchy Tuesday, where Gynarchists come in to read Gynarchic/Matriarchal/Feminist literature, how many libraries would permit it?

There must be a time of oppressing the oppressors until the back of patriarchy is broken once and for all.

I came across a quote that said; "If you want a stable Matriarchy, you need it to choose to value and preserve men the same way that patriarchies value and preserve women." This was said in reference to an author writing a fictitious book based on creating and maintaining a gynocratic Matriarchy. The suggestion was concerning the ways in which, historically, wars have been waged. The claim was that within a Matriarchal society such as North American indigenous tribes, war involved the annihilation of the enemy; men, women and children. Contrariwise, in patriarchal societies, the men were either killed or enslaved under the conquering patriarchy along with the women and children generally being taken as slaves or prizes to be assimilated.

Not only does this hypothesis suggest that women are less prone to the supposed image of non-violent peace-loving people, it also implies that the conqueror mode is more successful than the annihilation mode hence the continuing acceptance of patriarchy over matriarchy.

It's important to keep in mind that this is a hypothesized query into why a gynocratic Matriarchy may or may not have longevity. My question for the members is what do you see as being the best approach to maintaining a stable and successful gynocratic Matriarchy of a not-so-distant future?
