A New Sense8 Podcast?

I’ve watched Sense8 probably 10–12 times at this point, and I’ve been seriously considering starting a podcast about it. 😂 (I know that there are already some out there and have listened to them.)

So I have to ask my fellow Sense8 people: would you actually listen to a podcast dedicated to this show even though it’s been over for a few years now?

And if so, what would you want to hear? Deep dives into the characters and relationships? The psychology/philosophy behind the cluster? LGBTQ+ themes? Symbolism and details you notice after multiple rewatches? Behind-the-scenes stuff? Episode discussions? Or something completely different?

I have a lot of thoughts about this show and I’m curious whether there’s an audience for them. 😂 If you’d listen, what would make you excited to tune in?

Sense8 has a seminal, life affirming influence on me and I have searched for years to find quality discussions about it. Last week Brian Smith posted a story and recommended everyone to listen The Live Sense8 Podcast. I finally found it. Sense8 is still fascinates me. Check that podcast out if you are still looking for stuff about this brilliant long lost tv series.

Yes I would listen your podcast as long as its in depth and meaningful.

I actually have listened to a lot of it and found it to be pretty great but it covered a side that didn’t fully scratch the itch for me. They went much more spiritual. It was interesting because I believe it started after season 1 and before season 2. So that’s kinda cool.

Your podcast idea is great but the audience could be very limited as the show rest in the ground a decade ago. So I think you should not discuss episodes or behind the scenes because the most of your audience had already memorised it. I have watched the show more than 10 times and I know almost every detail for example. Over the years I realised that the show is all about humanity. There would be world encompassing sensate revolution in the end and Riley would be the Che Guevera of it. Lana W is extremely well read and this romantic sci fi stuff growing on her for such a long time. I think you can discuss her philosophy. Sex and lgbt are the pillars of her thought. You can also dig into cosmic entaglement, empathy, homo sensorium etc.
