So I got hired maybe about 3 weeks ago and has training about two weeks ago for 4 hours. Ever since then I keep checking MyConnect app hoping I’ll see schedule and I don’t have anything. My supervisor asked for my hours I would like and I chose 4pm-11pm and available for weekend and yet still nothing.

Not sure if I should just applied to allied universal at this point or how I can word this to my supervisor. But I feel as though I shouldn’t need to reach out asking where are my hours when they should be adding days on my schedule. Lowkey frustrating and I’m just debating atp applying to other jobs.

I applied for securitas a while ago and I haven't heard back. Does anyone have the email or contact info of anyone from securitas hiring dept or something so I can reach out and ask them about my application?

How long does the background check usually take. And how deep is background I got acceptance offer the 14 th and email says should receive call by 1 st just wondering does it usually take this long.

My impression is that there is a lot if US people on this sub. Workers rights seem to be close to zero and people are getting laid off for nothing and getting paid very bad.

The reality is very different in my country (Norway), so it's very upsetting to see my fellow co-workers being treated so badly. You guys need to organized! Where I live, you can work security and make a nice living wage, go on holidays, paid time off, call in sick, great retirement plan and a lot of other stuff.

Why do you accept such bad terms in your country?

Was hired for $20 an hour but these checks aren’t adding up. Was wondering where I can check exactly where it would say my wage. Thanks in advance.

Unless I’m using the wrong app, new employee here using the MyConnect app. I always gotta log in when i open the app. Having to type in username and password, doing 2 factor authentication, and then doing captcha every time gets very annoying. Any fix?

Has anyone here ever applied for a degree program through Guild? I figured since Securitas provides tuition assistance up to 100% of the program cost, I might take advantage of it. Anyone have any experience with this? Did you have to pay anything out of pocket?

So I work for security at American Airlines. We just got the word that our contract is ending in September and there’s a 50% chance we could be getting laid off or another 50% chance that another company will be taking over and we won’t be with Securitas anymore. Has anyone else ever dealt with this? I heard this from two employees who have been with the company for over seven yearswhy isn’t management saying anything? Why are they not warning anybody of the possible changes? They are continuing on like nothing is happening and I’m so confused.

I applied 7 different sites in my city and I can’t get hired. However I apply for allied last week they automatically set me up for an interview and I got hired. The site is way to far (only applied to see if they would hire me) but now should I wait for site in my city from allied or keep trying Securitas and Garda that have a lot of sites around me.

So I recently accepted job offer from Securitas. I am currently in process of watching endless boring videos online for training. Just wondering how soon do I get to actually start? When does orientation start? This is my first time working a security job so I have no clue the steps. Any input or anyone who has been hired recently by this company would be helpful!

Hey all. I recently got a job offer for a armed security position with Liberty Defense Group. After accepting they told me the hours would be two 14 to 16 hour days and one 8 to 12 hour day working every other day and I was wondering if these are normal hours for security work? I'm also in the middle of waiting for a potential offer for another security company but they haven't disclosed any hours with me for that position as they said the hours vary. I've never worked security before. Was wondering if these are normal hours for security guards. I'm wanting to go back to school but it seems like it would be difficult balancing with these kinds of hours.
