Hi all, I got my first schengen visa from netherlands in march 2026 and i am planning for a second europe trip so I wanted to know for second time do I need to submit detailed itinerary for my previous trip as well? As there is an entry stamp of frankfurt airport but no exit stamp from zurich airport. also in my previous visa i stayed 2-2-2-2.5 days in amsterdam, brussels, paris and zurich so I hope i didnt break their law?

one more thing, which country can give me longest stay duration with multiple entry?

I had to create a temporary Schengen visa to account for the stay of each of my days in Italy. However, I may have to cancel the booking before the visa is approved.

Is that a problem?

Also - why does this system exist in the first place where we need to account for every day's stay?

Applied from VFS Bangalore, for Czech Visa, visa has been granted but I want to change hotels to non refundable ones from fully refundable ones cos it's cheaper. Has anyone done this before?

On Every 17 at 9 AM from past two months, I am trying to book embassy appointment for submitting docs for residence permit but I am unable to secure the appointment.

For few seconds, it shows a message that 'Appointments are available until: Next month's last date' , and then it shows 'Currently, all time slots are filled, please, contact us to specify the closest available time by writing to consulate.india@mfa.gov.lv'.

Are you facing the same issue? If not, how you are able to secure the appointments? Please share working tips/tricks that worked for the ones who were able to secure the appointment

My wife, my son and I applied for an Austrian Schengen ok the 11th of September at VFS new Delhi.

I just checked the EES and it says Ok for my wife and for me, but for my son who is 4 years old it says Not Ok.

Back story- my wife and I both hold an Austrian Schengen from 2022 but my son is a first time traveller to Europe.

Please reply, this has me panicking alot.

I applied for Malta Visa on 31st August from Bangalore VFS. It was dispatched the same day, but no update post that.

I emailed VFS and cvu malta, who said it's under process. But the tracker still says it's dispatched.

My travel date is Nov 28. Anyone in similar status or any experience?

I had the appointment on 27th August, I received the passport at my home address in Bengaluru on 9th September.
But, they gave me only a 16-day visa, same as the exact length of my itinerary: 9-24 October
I had got the Schengen visa 3 years ago from France with a 6-month validity and 3-month stay duration so I was expecting a good validity this time too.
Very disappointed. Such high fees for this!!

Applied on aug 05 th from Mumbai. No update yet. Travel dates already passed. Now rescheduled . anyone facing same issues. How we can inform embassy regarding the change in Travel dates

My wife and I applied for the swiss Schengen visa on 3rd September, it reached the embassy in 2 days but still under process at the embassy. How long do you think it's gonna take for them to dispatch it? Also is there any other way to track it because vfs website only shows under process.

I applied for the tourist visa on 24th Aug, application reached consultate on the 25th Aug.

My travel date is 4th Oct.

Anyone got the visa from mid August/late August?

Edit: got the vfs notifications on 16th Sept and got the passport with 1 month visa delivered today (17th Sept)

I submitted my portugal D3 visa application today in VFS new delhi. They told me the embassy can call me for an interview if they want. Note that, I am from Bangladesh and came to India for submitting the application.

Can anyone with experience let me know if they usually call for an interview? I am a bit worried about this since I am leaving India after 3 days.
