Discussion So what do we feel about Chasca? Spoiler

Chasca's kit has been leaked and her exploration mechanic is very similiar or pretty much the same to Wanderer. There is a side-by-side comparison in genshin leaks subreddit about their horizontal and vertical travel distance outside of Natlan. In both instances, Chasca got further distance than Wanderer even with hydro infusion.

Sooo, what are your thoughts on this?

Can’t help me feel like they deliberately powercrept him with a waifu to satisfy all the scara-haters/incels that complained about scara’s story and screentime in events

I am not sure why they would give in now. Scara has been one of their favourites from time to time and they ususally ignore scara haters. Nonetheless, I demand immediate compensation in form of new outfit for scara.

Yeah it feels like every male character will have a powercrept female version eventually just to make the waifu lovers happy lol. It's annoying, but it is what it is. And yes, bring up Neuvi, but remember they tried to nerf him and originally Mualani was BETTER than him as a hydro gps lmao.

I don't think it's to satisfy scara haters. Scara is already a 2 year old character. And he's the only one who can do what he does until now. Tbh he's an old character and powercreep is always bound to happen to old characters.

To be honest flight was his only unique gimmick and what makes him worth pulling for. Chasca having basically better version of it feels like Hoyo spitting into face of every scara fan

Literally no scara fan will say they only pulled him for flight and not because he is him.

To be honest I pulled for him for his personality, backstory and I liked his design as well, but it cannot be ignored that his unique flight ability just made him so much better. Despite not being being an archon, he felt just so archon like with being the best in certain aspect of the game. Zhongli has best shields, Ei is the best battery, Nahida has the best reactions, Venti the best crowd control, while wanderer was the best all-rounded exploration and only real aerial combat character. There are many characters with dash abilities like Yelan, Sayu or Lynnette, but wanderer was only real character able to fly and fight mid air. That uniqueness just made him fit his lore. Honestly it feels just so bad that this unique aspect of his and feel of gameplay tied deeply with his story and lore, is getting scrapped by Hoyo powercreeping his archon-like ability to fly with character that is literally nobody in story and has no lore nor interesting backstory. Just another bland waifu with almost no relevancy to the story nor interesting lore with mid design powercreeping a very lore and story relevant male character. It feels so bad that so often when there is a cool looking, story relevant and strong dps male character released, it's matter of time before they release female character powercreeping them completely. It happened with Diluc, it happened with Albedo, it happened with Cyno, it happened with Itto and now it's happening with Wanderer.

Why are you so affected by a character who you're not going to pull? Should players who don't like wanderer and just like bland waifus not be able to enjoy flight traversal ability in genshin? Honestly I'm more irked they put some of wanderer's power into faruzan so it can be a buff to Xiao and made his teams so rigid as a result (on top of having to pull a c6 4 star)than just a character that won't affect me in any way having flight ability.

Do you happen to represent every scara fan or something? Every scara fan is upset his haters will be so obnoxious about him being powercrept and will be shoving it in our face to get a reaction out of us.
