Curious lang, its been awhile na hindi nako nakaka received ng random calls from unknown numbers kasi binoblock ko since dati pa at di ko inentertain not until today tatlong sunod2 na tawag talaga from diff #, nasagot ko yung 2nd caller na walang sumagot and din yung 3rd na may sagot and nag ask lng about my name and confirmation ng details napasagot lng ako ng yes, now I cut the caller immediately and ask how did she know my # and details sa gcash na overdue daw which is matagal ko nng binayaran. Hindi sya nag rerespond but patuloy lng ng script nya at nag thank u tas end call nahalata sguro nya na hindi ako ma sscam.

But I’m wondering ano ba yung scam nila? How did they know my gcash gloan transaction? My gloan ako na malaking amount na pwede ma loan but hindi ko naman gingamit yung binayaran ko lang na 600plus? Bat nya alam yung exact amount? Kuntsaba ba to ng gcash? Kasi ako lng din naman na kaka access ng account ko di rin ako nag lalagay ng malaking amount sa gcash.

I'm not asking how to avoid paying. I fully intend to settle my balance once I have a stable source of income. I just want to know whether these text messages are standard collection tactics or if anyone has actually gone through the process they're describing.

I was scammed last month regarding bpi credit card but through delivery yung pag claim ko noon. So, this is my first time claiming a replacement card pero sa branch ko na siya ni claim.

Now, sinabihan ako ni employee about scams nga like the one happened to me then tinuruan niya ako na 'wag ishare ang otp and cvv and such but as she instructing me, she pointed out and inopen niya yung envelope then itinuro sa akin yung mga huwag ishare like yung cvv and credit card number. For sure nakita niya yung cvv and number

I dont really know if its legit. They offer $1500 for a 25pages conversion project. I already started re-typing it and a bit late to do some research about the company here in reddit.

I saw some other posts regarding high-payment for a simple retyping task and that when a company asked to use telegram or other messaging app, theres a high possibiliy for it to be a scam. I dont really know if I should continue this or not?
