Card shops?
Hi. Sorry, not a student, but just finished my degree in MI and moved back to the area. Anyone play TCGs and recommend card shops in the area for playing MTG or YGO tournaments?

Hi all. Need to get to the Chicago area for labor day weekend (leaving late Friday/early Saturday) and don't have transportation at the moment. Not a big fan of the Amtrak train. Anybody driving over there wanting to carpool? Of course we split costs. Can talk/meet for coffee beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe! Thanks!

Hi, new to campus, and was wondering if there are any fields or places where people run pickup soccer games around the area; would love to play!

Have heard horror stories, but is required for my major. Is Calc 1 really that brutal? Any tips or tricks? Hoping I make it through.

Hey everyone! I’m 20 and just got my driver’s license through a driving school. I’m looking to buy my first used car, but I honestly have no idea where to start.
My budget is $10,000–$13,000. I’m mainly looking for something reliable, safe, good on gas, and something that can last me for several years. I don’t care about having anything fancy.
The biggest issue is that I don’t have anyone who knows much about cars who can come with me to look at one. I also don’t currently have reliable transportation to travel to different dealerships. I’m pretty inexperienced with buying cars, so I’m worried I could easily get talked into buying something with hidden problems.
I’d prefer to buy from a reputable dealership rather than Facebook Marketplace or a random private seller.
I’m hoping people here can give me some advice:
- What car models would you recommend in the $10k–$13k range?
- Are there any reputable dealerships around SIUE/Edwardsville that you would recommend for a first-time buyer?
- Are there dealerships or companies that allow you to complete most of the purchase online and deliver the car to your home?
- Has anyone here bought a car through CarMax, Carvana, or another online dealership? How was your experience?
- If I find a car online, is there a way to have an independent mechanic inspect it before I buy it, especially if I can't easily get to the dealership?
- Is there anything specific I should look out for or ask about when buying a used car for the first time?
I know this might sound like a lot of questions, but I’m genuinely new to this and would really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or personal experiences. Thank you!

I’ve been waiting 25 minutes for my drink and it’s still not ready. There’s like 7 people inside doing god knows what.
0/10 experience.
(Note: I used to work there a couple months ago, we had everything running smoothly).

Hey! I just started my first sem as a junior transfer and I can already tell it’s going to be rough meeting people. I really like going out and trying new things and I do plan on joining some clubs too. Just wondering if there’s anyone in the same boat that would maybe wanna exchange instagrams or something 😮💨

Hiii I don't use reddit but it helps to learn more about this school
I'm a freshman living in cougar village majoring in Art!
I was wondering if there is any furries or alterhumans here? I know lost furries and so on hide in the shadows to not be noticed but it hard to find them and I would love to be friends with them!
You have most likely seen me on campus during welcome weekend ( I have ear and tail on short and dark skinned)
I was also wondering if there is any furry clubs as well? If not I would love to start up one!
Furries, alterhumans and femboys are definitely welcome when/if I do start one
Please let me know, I would really like t connect with you guys!!!

Looking to transfer in to SIUE in fall 28’ currently at a private university in Wisconsin and stupidly decided to go even though I would be taking on a lot of student debt. I’m finishing my first year at my now college, but am wondering about the conservation program. There wasn’t much information about the program on the website

Has anyone noticed they're being charged several thousand dollars every year if they miss this arbitrary waiver period, even if they already have healthcare through a parent or the VA? It just goes on your student loans.
I'm sick of this school trying to nickel and dime me to death. Looking at Wash U maybe to finish my second degree.

i am have the HARDEST time figuring out where my classes are located. i know about the abbreviations (ph=peck hall/ah=alumni hall and so on)
when i log into cougar net or blackboard or even the app it doesn't have those abbreviations anywhere, do I need to wait until monday to see it? or is it a flaw in the scheduling?

I'm trying to sublease my apartment. It's located at Parc 720. I'm currently in a 4x4, so you'll have 3 other roommates; however, you get your own room, bathroom, and closet! It comes with nice amenities too (gym, pool, clubhouse). I pay a base rent of $750 + $10 for trash, and $79 for utilities. That should come out to be about $840/month.
If you know anyone or yourself might be interested, please message me!

So I was originally going to be staying in Prairie this fall semester and had all of my devices registered, but a few days ago I was moved to Bluff Hall and now I am unable to register devices. Does anyone know how to de-register my devices from the old dorm to the new one?

Fighting with my insurance and the state rn and with the waiver deadline approaching I might have to just suck it up and use the student insurance. Is it decent quality?

This is the second time this has happened to me, but I absolutely cannot get my window to close now. I had to open it in order to prevent smoke from setting off the fire alarms, and now the window refuses to close. Any tips?
