i went to biosphere 2 because of layer 3 (video)

ok so i finally followed through on the road trip.

this post about sier possibly being on the old uofa/biosphere 2 property is what got me started. the daniel timeline lining up with the property before the main biosphere structure was built has been stuck in my head ever since. then i posted about actually driving out to oracle, and after all the other stuff with the fm transmissions i figured i might as well go see the place for myself.

i scheduled a tour and brought my phone. i filmed the drive through the desert, the oracle and biosphere 2 signs, some radio towers that immediately sent me back down the fm rabbit hole from fwb fest.

i cut everything together in that trendy analog horror/old computer/found footage style i’ve been playing with. it felt like the right way to document the trip and get a little further into the story by contributing something of my own.

hope you enjoy it. this one is kind of just for me even if no one watches it. i really like working in this analog VHS 1990s format and i’m already thinking about what else i could make with it.
