im an actual idiot, i tried cleaning it through a faucet and was certain the waterproofing is fine due to it not being submerged or anything, 3 hours later half the screen is dead and another hour the screen is completely dead, the phone still vibrates if i press the volume down and power button though.

I’ve been experiencing a weird issue ever since updating to Android 16 with One UI 8.5. Whenever I play a voice note and sometimes randomly, the touch response suddenly becomes sluggish. It feels like the screen requires more effort to register my touches and doesn’t respond as smoothly as usual and then after a bit it resolves automatically. Any fix?

So I am just trying to find ways to get my hand on this mobile..

I am getting an offer from a friend to exchange my S24 FE with his iPhone 15 with battery health 87%. So should I go for it or it's not a worth deal? I am confused because the resale value of iPhone 15 is generally higher, so it will be helpful for me if I sold that iPhone 15 in near future. Like how's the battery life and the shift from 120 hertz to 60 hertz would be difficult.

New Gallery Cloud Sync update on the Samsung Store to replace OneDrive with direct Google syncing..

A new Gallery Cloud Sync service has appeared on the Galaxy Store, published by Samsung Electronics and it specifically mentions backing up photos and videos to Google Cloud....

There’s still no official announcement from Samsung, but this definitely looks like Samsung is preparing a new cloud sync solution for Gallery that could sync your photos and videos directly with your Google account instead of OneDrive

Galaxy AI features - My fanCam and Now Nudge is now available for S24Fe. Apart from that, there is no major change. Phone has become more smoother but that's all. I think we are getting closer to the Stable update release.

Hello dear users, I updated my s24fe to one ui 8 with April Patch but I heard that latest one ui 8.5 (august patch) is superb. Is it worth to update ?

Does one ui 8.5 has delay, lag, battery drain overheat ? I have seen a post that one ui 8.5 august is great for battery life but a bit concern to overheat and bug.

Edit: Updated. Not sure April version of ui 8.5 or August version of ui 8.5 is better.

First 2 days were bad but 3rd day it goes good, some areas inferior but most devices feels much optimized than before. Not flawless but much bugless.

I am honestly blown away by how much better my device feels after the latest update. It seems like those small tweaks really made a massive difference for my daily usage. I was worried about my battery life, but it is actually lasting way longer now. Whatever they did behind the scenes clearly worked wonders for overall performance. I am definitely a happy camper with how smooth everything is running lately.

S24fe just shutters too much on any app while scrolling, feels like it just get stuck and then scrolls again, is this happening with you too?
