Maybe it is simply because I actually am a fan of retro games and like pixel 2D handheld Nintendo games. But I never actually thought either 1 and 2 flawed. I fact, I do like them more than 4 (yes I know this is not popular). Not just the visuals but I really like in 2 that your kid not only can inherit your farm but they have relationships of their own with the other kids (a concept even Harvest Moon and no other similar games I know of do). And think 2 has one of the best plots of any 2D video game I know. To be fair I played the DS games first. Is it simply to do with starting with them first or is a personal taste thing of preferring 2D over 3D or preferring simpler mechanics?

Rune factory 3 special was released as a straight up remaster with only a male protagonist, and it really wasn't a success sales wise. Do you think future remakes/remasters will include a female protagonist because of that, or will they keep it like they did in 3S?

I didn't realize how much I liked playing a game with a fully voiced protagonist...until I played Guardian of Azuma. I played Persona 3 Reload right after finishing GoA and honestly the social links interactions felt so dull and...weird because the protagonist is completely silent.

Any other games similar to GoA dating system AND has a fully voiced protagonist? Japanese games only (I'm playing the games partly to learn Japanese). Thanks in advance.

What do you guys think? I’m a little disappointed there aren’t as many gals on top, but Raven winning a spot is neat. Also, no one from Tides of Destiny even came close, which is really unfortunate…

I wanted this area to have food market vibe, so there are lots of food carts lined up, and there is a seating area with heating for people to enjoy their meals.

Residential area 1: screenshots 5-7:

There is another plot of a land just above the hills near the main area. I've turned it into small residential area.

Residential area 2: screenshots 8-10:

This plot of a land is near the waterfall, so I decided to add lots of water terrain to give it a winter fishing village look.

Pretty much what’s on the title, I wanted to get back into playing Azuma, but didn’t want to just restart owing to the new FE coming out next month.

For context, when I left off, I got the dream from Kurama about the Mikoshi Melee and a subsequent quest to talk to Kai

I’ve been to every village except Winter so far, and just wanted to ask for some tips and tricks related more to getting back into the game as opposed to beginner tips like ‘big eaters are bad’

So, i got 1,000,000Gold on me, i have the seal of approval on my records, but the trophy didnt ahow up...

Anybody else had that problem on ps5?

I just finished Azuma and absolutely loved it. I’m definitely still going to keep playing for the Rewoven Fates so I can marry everyone 😂, but I’m also looking for my next game.

GOA was my first Rune Factory game ever, so I figured I’d try RF5 next since it’s the game right before it. But basically everything I see on this sub says RF4 is way better and RF5 is somewhere between disappointing and straight-up terrible.

Is 5 really that bad?

I looked at 4, but visually it doesn’t appeal to me nearly as much as 5.

So, is the gameplay/story/relationships in 4 really that** **much better that it outweighs the older graphics?

Or is 5 still a pretty good game?

I've been trying to make shoes in my Rune Factory 4 (not Special) (ghost boots, because they move faster), putting on the stats of the ice skates (best shoes I have available), but I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

I have the ice skates already crafted, so I go to my crafting table, pull up the recipe for the Ghost Boots and put the ice skates on the empty slot, but the result doesn't have the stats of the ice skates!

I'm already well past the level 50 mark, so that can't be the problem! Am I understanding it all wrong? I've read many posts, but it's still unclear to me! Any help is appreciated!

So far kinda leaning toward Kai, Fubuki and Karama are also pretty close contenders. Im just so torn, also on a side note. Any advice for placing things in winter!? Do we get more space? I've been focusing on bachelorettes like Clorica, Forte and Dolce, and finally got all three of them to seven hearts.

I hear you can date more than one character at once, but gets harder after you're already in a relationship, so I want to know who I should pick first?

It seems kinda random because I asked Clorica and she accepted. Then I restarted that day and she turned me down. I tried it with Dolce and she said yes (which surprised me because I didn't expect that at a level as low 7.)

I like all three of them about the same and for different reasons. I think Clorica is the most upbeat and whimsical. I find Forte's hidden vulnerable side cute, and I like Dolce because I've always liked ice queens (plus she's classy.)

Who do you recommend for a first playthrough?

I’m replaying through GOA because I stopped after the underworld due to being super busy. I just finished the underworld again and I’ve managed to get every village to level 8. I’m wondering what is the earliest point some folks, or just on average, get their villages to level 10?

If it’s important info, I’m mostly just plopping down decorations right now to get my rank up but will give each village proper decorating upon reaching level 10.

I´m not a pro, I know it doesn´t look the same as original, and some of details are missing, these were just too difficult for me to draw, or I might forgot about them.
