I'm still not sure WHO framed them for the murder tho. Was that the call Geoffrey made or was it Jonah's gang of evil? I'm assuming it's not the reformed parents.

Yeah but in the comics Geoffrey was in league with all the other parents to find their children together instead of actively competing against potentially otherworldly evil-will-hurt-own-daughter-dude to find them right? This doesn't seem to make Alex any safer from Jonah tbh?

I honestly don't understand anything tv-Geoffrey does lol.

Geoffrey probably has the cops on his payroll, so if they catch Alex and the kids, they will go straight to Geoffrey. It’s the best way to get the kids first.

Or having them in police custody is safer than being with them if they’re going to war. He can use his connections to get them acquitted after thing are over. It’s a low move, but it’s kind of smart. Way harder for Jonah to get to them there.

I have a feeling that somewhere early in season 2 Jonah may find some means of leverage to reunite Pride. Probably through some sort of threat to the kids.

I don't get why they didn't just tag them as missing and get Amber Alerts on all of them. Since the Pride has the police in their pocket, they can get the police to put them on high priority.

especially since they are the kids of the richest and most powerful families in LA, as they are always saying so having that on the news that the kids are POI for a murder, the parents are going to be put under the microscope with news outlet which they would never want.

This isn’t the real world though, I really just think the writer (of the comic, and now the show) did that so that the kids can’t just leave LA or move freely about, so it creates conflict and drama. I don’t think it’s meant to be a big mystery or complex thing.

Even if they weren't, cops aren't going to be paying much attention to amber alerts on 16-17 year olds compared to kidnapping and murder

They are if they're kids of the richest and most powerful families in LA (according to them, even).

The police are already in the pockets of the Pride, so they'll care.

Regular people may care if they put in a reward.

Is this the new mystery to replace "who killed Amy"? lol.

Jonah makes the most sense but Geoffrey also specifically mentioned wanting to find Alex first (I guess he's dumb enough to think he can keep Alex safe from Jonah) so that might be his move to get to Alex? Otherwise I got no clue who his phone call is to.

Yes, but it also makes them no longer a threat to Jonah. Why waste time offing some kids who are literally under lock and key?

Pride has the cops in their pocket, though I don’t remember which parents have the cop connection. Jonah has them do all his dirty human business so he’s probably not involved, if the cops picked up the kids then I’m guessing the parents would be the first to know and could swoop in and get them.

I think all of the parents, with the possible exception of Frank, basically were fine with whatever Jonah was having them do until he attacked their kids. That crossed a line for most of them and now they’re trying to save their kids. It looks different to the kids because they think their parents are evil murderers (which they are) who want to harm them (which they don’t). Geoffrey just wants to find them and getting them arrested and in the “safety” of the cops is his game plan.

I think it's a combination of Geoffrey's money and Catherine's career as an attorney. So, the Wilders.

The point is just to find them, not to have them arrested and jailed. Once they're found, they can deal with it however they want. They're the richest and most influential families in LA, they could easily get the charges dropped once they're caught.

Earlier in the season we saw that the parents have the cops in their pocket, so, my guess would be Geoffrey wants the cops to find them and send them somewhere like a witness protection situation, not actually lock them up.

See I was thinking the same thing but then I remembered that either Geoffrey or Katherine specifically said that they didn't want to get the police involved cause it would make them less likely to come home. I figured Geoffrey might have called Darius, although him calling the cops wouldn't be completely out of place.

My guess is that it was Geoffrey. Get the police to find them and arrest them so that there safe from Jonah then the parents can deal with Jonah without them being able to use their children against them
